Angelina Jolie

Since I finished my Jason Statham marathon, I decided to have a marathon on my favorite Female Action Star......Angelina Jolie.  I watched "The Tourist" today.  I don't know why the critics didn't like it.  I really liked it.  I love movies with twists at the end.  It had me trying to figure out who Alexander Pierce was, and I was surprised that I actually figured it out before the end of the movie.

I finished my Jason Statham marathon last night with "Snatch".  Unfortunately, I did not save the best for last.  I don't know what it is about Guy Ritchie movies (with the exception of Sherlock Holmes).  This movie was all over the place, and I couldn't understand a word.  I felt like I was watching a Foreign Language Film.

I have one more Jason Statham movie to watch now..."Snatch".  I have to say, at this point, the "Transporter" series is still my favorite.  He's my favorite action star, but he's done some very bizarre movies.

Well, I've put my Jason Statham marathon on hold for a moment.  I'm a sucker for Hallmark Christmas Movies, and they've been playing them pretty much every weekend since Halloween.  Here are a couple that I would recommend.....

1. "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" with Brooke Burns, Warren Christie, Henry Winkler.  A stranger ends up spending Christmas with a single mom (who's engaged) and her uncle.

 
2.  "Holiday in Handcuffs" with Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez.  A woman is desperate to bring her boyfriend home for Christmas, and when she is dumped right before she's supposed to leave, she loses it and kidnaps a guy to pass him off as her boyfriend.

      

Jason Statham

I've been having a Jason Statham marathon.  He is my absolute favorite action star.  I went on Netflix and added all of his movies that I haven't seen yet.  The Crank movies had me cracking up!  If you've seen them, you can guess which scene in both movies are the most memorable and funny.  I have maybe 8 movies left, but I have to say that right now, the 3 Transporters are still my favorite of his.

"Something Borrowed" and "You Again"

I could watch "Something Borrowed and "You Again" a hundred times.  Both movies have me laughing hysterically every time I watch it as if it were my first time watching.
